I have been busy recently redoing my entire website, making it ready to finally function as an online store. So now in addition to the blogspot and the facebook page, I most importantly have the website which will be home for all my creative works: www.iloveafrika.com
If you recall, I posted before on Giving Ises, Scriptures to address emotions and tribulation, True Worship principles, affirmations and so on - such info is all part of a special book the RasTafari Book of Ises which I originally wrote for myself as a daily prayer and Iditation guide - I wrote for myself but addressed it to all RasTafari. I needed something that had all the RasTafari psalms and Word Sound that I and I use in the livity. I needed something that would inspire, pacify, enlighten and invigorate at a moment's notice, something that would testify of the glory of JAH RasTafari Alpha and Omega. But in that work I also included what I then called the powers of Ises, which are really principles that altogether contribute to Kristos Consciousness and the purity of the I in work, worship and within. These powers are all steps along the path of RasTafari, steps back to the GodSelf. Today I wish to share power #20 the Covenant of Dreadlocks in keeping with the Nazirite Vow reasoning:
(20) Covenant
of Dreadlocks
“The Lord is on my head like
a crown, and I shall not be without Him.
They wove for me a crown of truth, and it caused thy branches to bud in me.
For it is not like a withered crown which buddeth not: but thou livest upon my head, and thou hast blossomed upon my head.
Thy fruits are full-grown and perfect, they are full of thy salvation.” [Sela!]
(Odes of Solomon, Ode 1)
Any
Covenant that a person makes between themselves and their Living God is a
strength and inspiration that will help them to maintain their Iritual identity
and growth. It will be the thing that defines who and where they are within
their faith. For Rastafari the Covenant of Dreadlocks is very important to the
Theology and Livity that I and I practice. This covenant aids us in standing
firm throughout this movement which takes I and I out of Babylon and onto the
shores of Ethiopia-Afrika and into the realms of the holy Order of Melchizedek which was the priesthood anointing of I and I
God and King Emperor Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen I. Dreadlocks are therefore
symbolic of the crown of life, the crown of JAH's Word/Wisdom/WiseMind, and the anointing in the Israelite Melchizedekian
Covenant. This Covenant JAH Rastafari leads by His fulfilment of the Books of Isaiah,
Daniel, Genesis and Revelation as Shiloh, and the restoration of the houses and tribes of
Isra'el. Dreadlocks like hola garments and royal banners of red gold and green, show our sanctification and entrance into
the City Gates of Zion to receive the Tree of Life.
Dreadlocks
are physical manifestations of the awakened KrIstos-Consciousness thereby
displaying one’s separation from the carnal grips of death, in exaltation of
the heavenly or cosmic and natural forces of JAH that give Eternal Life
and Peace. The Dreadlocked Crown and Covenant is a sign and derivative of the
ancient Nazirite/Nazirene Covenant - a partnership of sanctified, humble separation from
sin, death, pollution and evil. Rastafari man and woman
form this peace and holaness with JAH when growing their Covenant Locks. Dreadlocks
are therefore powerful forces in and for the purpose of giving Ises being
reminders of Rastafari's clean principle, livication to Itality and nature, and
the God-Head.
Dreadlocks
are a cloak of Black Power, Protection, Truth and the Natural
Herbal habits that change and improve our lives. This cloak daily surrounds us
and encourages us to be strong and Right. Dreadlocks are our inspiration for
change and wellness, because we grow them with the realization that such is our
destiny and salvation. Ises builds our strength and exhorts our joy in being
set apart with I and I Dread and Ital Livity.
I
and I honour and reverence our Dreadlocked Nazirite Anointing with love, peace,
humility, positive words and deeds and Ital Livity. It is our individual glory
standing before JAH in Ises.
Just a small offering for the Sabbatical time,
Senbet Selam - Sabbath Peace
