It's been so long but JAH know my absence is due to the volume of works I am preparing to bring forth this year (JAH willing). So before I introduce my newest offering I will just give a brief run through of what is going on with me, Ila Addis, at this point.
I am currently on the final editing of my first book to be published: The Lion of God is the working title at this time. It is a five year long expansion of the article I posted back in 2014 The Sun Lion King: Cosmic Messianic Symbolism in Rastafari
I never expected to be taken on this journey but alas it has truly been an enlightening one, where I have come to see that what Rastafari hold dear in our beliefs about His Majesty Haile Sellassie I, are well founded but have not been explored in a collective fullness. So this offering will be my personal exploration into the 'hidden symbolism' and deeper meanings behind the Messianic symbolism of Judeo-Christianity, which we attribute to the Emperor.
Secondly, I have been posting my recipes to www.italpeople.blogspot.com instead of here, so please do connect with that site if you haven't. I am also on instagram as @italpeople. I have been absent for a while there as well but I am preparing to post some more recipes starting today. I also am requesting that Sistren or Brethren email me recipes for not just Ital food but body and home care as well, anything with child care. Ital People is not just about me personally, but about the Ital Livity of the Rastafari collective, so please do contribute! You will be credited. Email me your recipe in article style, with pics and your social media info at italpeople@gmail.com. I would apprecilove it. Ones who work in culinary arts or produce body care items this is a great opportunity for you to get yourself known to the community as well.
Thirdly, my website is still up www.iloveafrika.com Tams and Loc Caps and Wraps are the major sellers at this point. I haven't had the funds to produce my Afrika patchwork skirts like in previous years but I am always hoping to get back to the works.
Fourth, my kingman Jahmaro (instagram @jahmarro) and I have finally been able to produce our own Tshirt line through Amazon. We upload the print and they do all the shipping and so on. Fifth, and to the point of this post, I have FINALLY finished a few of my worksheet printable packs for homeschooling Mamas! It has been a long journey because I have been drawing and digitally colourising the images and creating/formatting the worksheets myself which is a LONG AND TEDIOUS process! Luckily Jahmaro has been helpful with drawing the images of people and animals for me - I am useless when it comes to those types of images haha. So far I only have language arts up but I am working on some Math packs now, and then some Reading Comprehension and Writing packs.
Some of these packs will be freebies at the Teachers Pay Teachers store but on my website I can't offer items free so they will be only $1.00. So I really do hope you will check them out, support the works and also spread the word to other homeschoolers. It is important to bring Rastafari into the classroom and it is very hard to do that without materials that bear the images or themes. Homeschooling is packed with so much subjects to cover, I am pleased to integrate the two. I have developed and used these sheets as I teach my own five year old prince so I myself have been benefiting along the way.

I am also hoping to get back to posting videos on youtube because there are some things I want to re-address in RastaWifeLine, but I need time with QUIET in my house to do so haha!

Give thanks for the Afrikan Liberation Selahbration timing! Give thanks for the Messiah, the Anointed King and His victory over evil. Without His Imperial Majesty the Birthplace of InI would have been lost forever and destroyed. Give thanks to have witnessed the Coming of the true Son of God (OneAnointed with WiseMind and Power of the Trinity) in His Kingly Character, to deliver justice to Afrika!
The more I study the origins of the texts of the Bible - that is, not where or who wrote it but what ideas and documents the many authors used - I become aware of the glaringly obvious fact that the Bible is an astrotheological book - a book that tells the knowledge of JAH through the heavenly bodies - the stars including the sun, and the planets. I dare you to count how many times you see a cosmic reference in the Book of Revelation or Enoch - again, it's so "in your face." When I say the knowledge of JAH, I am talking about the most ancient principle of overstanding:
that JAH or the Creator, or God, is revealed or made known to man and wombman through Nature: "JAH in and as Creation" "as above so below, " the seasons, the cycles, the timing, the ebb and flow, the sunlight and bursting of new life and the wrathful natural disasters. It's all revealing "JAH" at every moment, and because of this basic principle the Kemetians developed a sacred language of JAH to record the sparks of knowledge they learned from observing the NeTeR - this is why they used animals and plants and humans to depict their Gods, because they acknowledge that we are all part of what is God, that Creation is in constant motion and existence in everything. Animals and plants were used as symbols of JAH because they were found to display certain unique characteristics of intelligence, of JAH's Design for Life. (it was not animal worship, but honouring the blueprint and design and wisemind found in each organism in earth).
The truth is that the Bible was written like a cube - it's got many
sides that make up the whole - and the whole is not literally about a
big kingdom of Israel but about knowing and abiding in the Natural Law
of JAH - the entire collection of Scriptures (Apocrypha, Old and New
Testament, Enoch etc) can be interpreted from a governmental, political,
cultural, proverbial or philosphical, theological, and most of all astronomical/astrological/botanical/scientific stand-point.
The second thing is that as above in the cosmos, so below on earth. all life on Earth shares its life force, its elements, energies and cycles with the planetary bodies and luminaries. Melanin for example, is part of space and part of our bodies - the ancients actually revered the Sun as an emblem of the Creator for it brought the seeds of life into fruition, and because they believed that it was a living organism and we as human reflect its intellect.
This also ties into the zodiac, for the zodiac not only interacted with the sun, told time and the change of seasons according to the four cardinal points and elements, but it was found to determine the attributes of people, to affect their psyche. part of knowing who you were was to know what to expect from your sign - similar to how Twelve Tribes uses the Tribes - and yes the Tribes of ISrael are infact the zodiac as are the disciples in the NT who replace the children of Jacob.
It was known that because we are essentially heavenly beings, that being in flesh on earth is hell, and that it was our duty to follow the righteous steps of MAAT and make our way back to the cosmos. Every pharaoh was to reach Orion's Belt and join Osiris for eternity when he died. He was embalmed for the process as the Sahu had to be initiated and protected and sent off in ceremony to ensure his success. they timed this journey with the heavens as well.
our ancestors all over the world of different cultures believes that JAH is One that can be seen in every little detail and aspect and cycle of Nature. it is up to us as humans to harmonize ourselves to the cycles of the earth as it is our animal fleshly nature, so that we may know our Iritual nature. it is up to us to know ourselves as beings of Iration which is to say as children of Natural Law. For ensample, InI must overstand the phases of the Sun and Moon not just to plant and harvest, but so that we can overstand our emotions and the how the atmosphere changes. for this is not paganism, or occultism or heresy - this is simply knowing ourselves as First Creation Birth before made-made (mosaic) laws had to be installed to save corrupted and vulgar men from themselves. how do you think the ancients before religion existed? they knew their environment by using their internal instincts, not by relying on text books or preachers!
The ancients also believed in reincarnation in flesh until we have purified (all the ego and bullshit nature is silenced) our souls enough to become stars - "go back to the Light" how many times does Hollywood tell us about going toward the Light in death? Hollywood itself is filled with all this ancient knowledge but we through slavery have been killed mentally and do not even recognize our own stories and philosophies outside of the obvious images and names.
Every man and woman when they gain knowledge of the right from the wrong will eventually stumble onto Natural Law. It is the greatest part of our purification, enlightenment and resurrection to new life because it involves Ital living, positive vibrations, harmony, quiet, learning, humbling, surrendering, affirming, blessing - think about it, the Lamb brought to Slaughter is the Lion's Victory! We jsut need to get past the myths that have been thrown in our faces to keep us from actually gaining true vision and determination that there is no other way to live!
The ancients believed that this process of ascension to the Solar or Soular Man, was linked to the Sun - which as told by the Zodiac's layout - goes through a similar process represented by the four seasons. Nothing that we feel and do therefore, on earth, is without its cosmic mirror. and I know that those RasTafari who have the chance to be in Nature often, and who wash in the river and eat fruits from their own garden know the positive electricity and magnetism they receive from that, can see what I am saying. For That is JAH, That is NETER. the things we take for granted: the rising and setting, the changes of seasons, are the exact things we shouldnt ignore for they are part of our being and we are part of theirs. Every full moon is the ripening of the earth, the seeding of the womb of Earth by the cosmos, what makes us think that we dont emit our own seeding of the heavens too?
what I am trying to say again, as I said before, Natural Law is not pagan or occult or taboo or disgusting or heresy or diving or simply "nature worship" as only the most intelligent of minds ever knew the Ancient Mysteries of the True Living Creator (Abba-Amma, Alpha-Omega). only the intelligent minds of today who feel the immortal spark of divinity within them know that there is only good to be had from overstanding who and what the true god is, and how to worship HIM and HER. yoga is popular now but how many will overstand the true principle of yoga and chakras? how many will see that the human body has an upsided down rainbow that mirrors the heavenly rainbow - as above so below? and that yoga and the purifying of the kundalini will open that cosmic connection to bring ascension to the soul? the science of Nature or the Life of Kristos is the language of Creator in Creation. everything that Kristos or Christ represents, is that awakening to true self within, so that one can create a better without.
And if you are still not seeing what I am saying, and believe that CHristianity is anything different than a HUGE CORRUPTION of KEMET FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENSLAVING THE WORLD, then I beg you to look at all their icons and symbols, their strong use of angels (elements), stars and suns in all artwork. Even Orthodoxy paintings.
The biggest lesson Ive learned is that CHristianity is based on the truth but it does not practice or preach it, and it is up to us as Rastafari to overstand that InI are closer to the truth than most, and we owe it to ourselves to keep goingback to First Creation Birth and Ital Living in the Mountains, so that InI can really connect to the Father-Mother and find Zion within. It is through Nature that love and peace and compassion arise. it is through feeling blessed by JAH that ones feel compelled to bless others and do good work - self accountability is the highest revelation, to know self as a creator being, a sun that has bring life to all it touches. to take your life into your own hands and live it to fullest in full awareness of all that this amazing world has to offer all its inhabitants. doesnt that sound better and more real than religion?
For Iyesus even says all I say here: the kingdom of heaven is within you! you are cosmic too and it is the whole point of his movement to unlock that spark of divinity within. True divinity to the ancients was linked to the cosmos, and being of the Akasha or Ethereal. "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" "You know the Father through Me" Iyesus was patterned after Osiris, Heru, Dionysus, Bacchus, Mithras and other Archetypes of the Solar Man created over the centuries to keep the hidden knowledge of self-realization - birth, enlightenment, purification, resurrection. our point is not to "pray in Jesus name" but to find our owin Kristos or JAH within through Natural Law. Mosaic Law only puffs up an ego and increases a hopelessness in sin, if it is not balanced with love and overstanding of the true highest law which says "do good"
and likewise I want to show that His Majesty Emperor Haile Sellassie I serves this purpose, to inspire InI to know ourselves, to do good, to live right and not bow to wickedness and lies. to be accountable for self and always be willing to work hard for what is right and truth to balance male n female. It is not a contradiction to the King for I to bunn out religion for Natural Law,for He certainly abided in Natural law. His Majesty fulfills all the requirements of not only a Messianic King or Son of David in the literal interpretation (which has no real historical backing but Ethiopia) but cosmically as well since the Davidic king is the Sun or Son of. His Majesty's prophetical fulfilments in the Hebrew Scriptures still tell the truth of His Divinity even though His ancestors ideally are Iritual concepts rather than real people which proves even more that it is the WORD which lives on, the WISE MIND which creates the world and its operation. His Majesty, a real man and not myth, even aligns with the cosmic deities of mythos/religion. His birth, it's timing and circumstances, His character, His life's work and achievements, His Personality; all line up to Natural Law as personified in Iyesus Kristos and make it quite sound to identify HIM as the True and only Messiah. (all Gods are personified natural law so it is wrong to say gods arent men and women for they are, the Creator they represent is not, and therefore has to be personified to be understood)
Rastafari can only see these facts if we can put aside all the religious distractions and let the truth and history speak for themselves.
We have got to listen to Sankofa - return and get what was ours for our own sakes!
InI need to stop with the religion in Rastafari and focus on First Creation Birth - InI need to return to the past and relearn our own movement and Afrikan origins and overstand once again the true ancestral heritage we have reawakened in our own culture with Ital, dreadlocks, yoga, cleanliness, purification cycles, and our use of symbols like on the banners [black star, the colours of the rainbow (red gold green) and space/melanin], the star of david (As above so below!), the ankh - resurrection, birth, procreation, male n female natural law. All in all everything RasTafari do and adopt are rooted in Natural Law and it is time that InI get back to the root and grow new stronger branches that will produce much happier RasTafari people who are actually free from mental slavery and not fooling themselves with this "most holy" act.
I have learned my lesson and I am so grateful that JAH stopped the selfrighteous lies and misconceptions of monotheism before it was too late lol

it is time to stop think know n feel what is right instead of blind faith
I do hope this day proved for all Dawtas to blessed and upfull. Today it was a holiday in Trinidad, so we just kicked back at home, but my princess went to the movies with a cousin. Now that the prince is resting I have a moment before a movie, to post the next recipe!
I had never tried cooking kale before, everytime I eat it, it is as lettuce in a salad. But lately the kale is so fibrous and thick that it actually takes too much out of my teeth to chew it for so long! So I decided to sautee it and of course I did it in my own style. It's super fast and a great addition to plantain, jasmine rice and split pea stew/dahl.
So here it is:
finely chop
4 cloves of garlic
1 small onion
1 pimento
2 chives/green onion
as many leaves of kale as you need for your servings
a few leaves of patchoy (if you wish)
a few okra (if you wish)
grate a thumb of ginger
In sesame oil (tablespoon or more) sautee the fresh seasonings first for 2 minutes
add the greens and sautee for two minutes until they turn bright green
add a few dashes of Braggs Soy Sauce.
Remove from heat and that is it! Remember the idea is just to soften the kale not to actually cook it for too long. you can use a fry pan or stir fry pan or wok, whatever you use for your veggies.

I know I havent been around for a while, but having a newborn is so time-consuming that I really don't get much time to sit at the computer, or to make new tutorials... But I am trying to get back into the groove, as I am being creative again when I can these days, after not making items for a while during my pregnancy. I am also working on some written material on His Majesty and the duty and roles of a king as determined in the Ible. I also want to work on some video reasonings. so things are going on behind the scenes even if it may take me longer than before to get my products online.
I really wanted to make a maxi skirt to take some pictures or do a mini photoshoot for some upcoming designs. so this beautiful camo-like fabric is what I decided to use. This is a very very basic tutorial, nothing new to the blog - but since it is knit I decided to do another tutorial on the basic A-line maxi.

I made this cute little babydoll styled T Shirt dress for Nile for Afrikan Liberation. It is a great and simple tutorial that can be changed up in so many ways! I have a tutorial to come on another style I did with a sash and circle skirt.Once you do this dress one time, you will be hooked and can make so many dresses. You can use an old or new T shirt and cut it and attach the skirt also instead of making a tee from scratch. But as you will see making the Tee is very simple!
I really want to get making some things for my new prince! He will be arriving soon in early August!

More Sistren are interested in recipes and I want to reiterate that many of my tutorials are basic steps to creating stir fry, salad, soup, or stew whether peas or provision. You can use whatever your taste is to create many meals by following the steps I do.
This post is about salad making but I have included a simple mash soup recipe which will make a perfect side or follow-up meal to salad for those who don't find salad to be filling on its own for very long.
Today I had this soup as dinner, after fruit for breakfast and a big salad for lunch and popcorn for snack.
Mash soups are great for when you are dieting or trying to lose weight because it is more of a liquid soup that you drink in mugs throughout the day. there are no real pieces of vegetables or the like - mash soup is made from mainly peas (one or more types), or a combination of peas and provision. the ingredients are either mashed or blended up to make it a drinkable soup. It is well seasoned with herbs as well.
I made a sweet soup of pumpkin, split pea, sweet potato and English potato. I added some dumplings for my daughter.
Sweet Mash Soup
I simply boiled 3/4 cup split peas until they were soft,with onion, pepper, garlic etc.
I filled the pot with water and just let it boil down, I never added water again. the soup should be boiling but on a medium flame throughout.
then I added about a quarter of a half piece of pumpkin cut in cubes, that was like two cups of big chunks. I mashed them together with the peas in the pot when they got soft as well. this was to form the soup base.
I cubed one big potato and one medium size sweet potato and added them to the mashed base boiling In the pot. As the potatoes softened I mashed them down too. The soup will have a thick texture but not many chunks.
To make the dumplings I sifted 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and 1/4 corn flour, with 1 teaspoon baking powder and spoon of sugar, with a dash of salt. I used about 1/2 cup water adding gradually. Roll into balls with a little flour after dough is formed.
When I was satisfied with the texture of the soup I dropped the dumplings in. I let it cook five to ten minutes and then turned it off.
It is mellow, creamy and sweet! yum!!
But back to the salad!
The Art of Great Salad Making
I know it seems hard to make salad and eat it everyday, for some it is not filling or appetising, or too crunchy. But it doesn't have to be that way - salad is quite enjoyable! It is all in how you prepare it.
1. First you have got to make your salad interesting!
Don't just put lettuce, tomato and cucumber and expect a miracle! The more fresh ingredients the better!
Tomato, carrot, cucumber, green leafy vegetables, okra, avocado, broccoli and beet root are great bases for a salad. I make sure I have all of these in each salad (except the avocado which is coming to season any day now).
2. Change your green leafy vegetables regularly!
Don't just use lettuce all the time. Use different kinds of lettuce like romaine, try kale and spicy green leaves like arugula and watercress. Chives and thyme and basil will also add some kick.
3. Add fruit for sweetness!
Beet root or carrot is sweet but chunks of fruit are great too. I like apple, strawberry, blue berries, pear and kiwi. I usually add just one fruit. But two works just as good. Cubes peaches, mango and apricots might also be quite nice. Some like tangerine slices.
Likewise if you want spice or zing add fresh onion or a pepper.
4. Add seeds or nuts to get more nutritional value! Pumpkin seeds are a favourite of many.
5. Add a grain to increase the "heaviness" of your salad if you don't feel full (though the bigger the salad the more full you will feel. It is a meal so make it big)
Add room temperature quinoa or cous cous, bulgar wheat or even millet, and make sure when you prepare them that your water is well seasoned with curry, saffron, cumin to name a few spices.
6. Make everything bite size!
Eating salad as a meal isn't fun when u spend all your energy trying to chew hard chunks of carrot and cucumber!
Make sure your chunks are bite size for tomato, avocado, cucumber, strawberries, brocolli, apple, pear and kiwi. For broccoli I make sure to break the heads apart so that they are small as well and I add chunks of the stalk.
For the leafy veges I also chop them finely so that they blend well with everything else.
For okra I slice it very thin and then half it - I don't usually add more than two small okra because of the slime.
For carrot and beet root I always use a grater instead of chopping them - they are just too hard to chew in any size. u can add more this way too.
7. Make a dressing!
Lime juice or lemon juice works great.
If you want creamy you can blend an avocado.
Some people like oily dressing, so using olive or sesame or coconut oil, you can blend fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme, mint, chive, oregano and so on. Even add pepper if you like heat.
8. Have a great side dish like soup, or a pea stew, ground provision or fruit.
You
don't have to eat your salad alone but it is good to ensure that at
least once a day it is the bigger part of the meal. the more raw
nutrients you get everyday, the better for your body!
While you
may love cooked Ital, the best way to live is on a greater raw or fresh
food intake than a cooked because you lose so much of the nutrients of
the food to the heat.
You can even drink an herbal tea or a fresh juice or smoothie along with the salad.
9. Don't eat it cold, and store well to maintain freshness!
You don't have to eat it at room temp, but when the salad is not cold I find chewing all that freshness is not so hard on the teeth.
So I hope these tips will help you to eat more salad and actually full-joy it! they have helped me tremendously and now my body is set to have that for lunch everyday, leaving the heavy cooked meal until the evening time around 5-6 pm. If I eat more cooked meals in the day I find my dinner spoilt and too heavy.
Remember that treating the body well is a must if you are to balance your Irituality and Creativity. They must all harmonize for true wellness and health.
Today I just want to share a pic in my Ites Gold Green. It's not often I dress in my full RasTafari Ethiopian Afrikan Garb, cuz I'm an earthtones kinda gal - love my green and brown, those kinds of colours. But sometimes we as sistren just have to royal it up and dread it up in babylon. some older more "religious" people dont like to see us in our full Ethiopian wear, it's foreign to them and just ridiculous cuz it's not western. but to others it's rather intriguing because they admire our rebel spirit to be different and to reclaim something that has been oppressed for too long.

I was inspired by the book im currently reading From Babylon to Timbuktu by Rudolph Windsor. it's a book that i bought to see if it had any more information i could add to my own works on the Ethiopian Origin of the Hebrews. It really made me feel good to read it because he has the same info and conclusions that I have tried to point out using Scripture and a few other historical sources such as Josephus. I definitely recommend gettin it if you can.
Ethiopia, Arabia, Israel - all black races of Asia and Afrika, and at one time the Israelite way of life or religion was once spread across all these kingdoms by kings and of the course Queen of Sheba before Christianity and Islam came in centuries later. Indeed the "Jews" ruled Ethiopia on both the left and right side of the Red Sea - Asia and Afrika was once all Ethiopia - two Ethiopias divided by water, and also Israelite by religion - as I said Abraham's Covenant extends from the Nile to the Euphrates - it's truer than the White world would have us believe.

I saw a sis was searching for this kind of tutorial, and I had this one here for the longest time, but never posted it.
materials
red, yellow, green cotton fabric, 1 yard each to be safe. lining fabric, 1 yard thread to match your jeans, and another thread if you want, to sew up the banner scissors, chalk yard rule sewing machine heavy duty sewing machine needle pins newspaper or any other large paper roll tape marker
With this tutorial, you are basically making a Banner first, and then cuttin it into a triangle to insert into the jeans skirt. I am not really providing measurements because every jeanskirt will be different in length and size. Note that with this tutorial I made the mistake of not making the red panel longer in length, so it came out a very small triangle at the top. So it's important that the panel at the top be at least 2" longer than the other two panels I think. the top panel can be either red or green it's up to you.
1. First open up your jeans pant with scissors. use the rule and chalk to mark out a triangle and cut off that excess fabric both front to back.
It's good to cut away some of the bulky part of the jeans in the crotch area because you could break the needle, and the onle crotch seans aren't needed.
Zig zag these edges so the fabric won't fray. I do this because you don't want to have holes in the skirt after you wash and wash.
2. Place about two sheets of newspaper together long sides together and tape them together.
Place that under the front of the skirt or in between the skirt layers. Use a marker and your rule to trace out that triangle.
Cut out the triangle.This is your template for the fabric.
3. On the jeans like in the picture, mark out the three panels, making sure you don't make the bottom panel too long as I did my green.
measure each length from your markings for the three panels. add 2.5" to the length of the top panel, 1" to the length of the middle panel and 1.5" to the length of the bottom panel.
the width you will cut each panel at is the width of the bottom of the triangle plus some extra inches - make sure you have at least 4 inches extra to be safe because you need seam allowance.
4. cut out your panels two in each colour for front and back of the skirt. I cut them all at the same width making a banner, which i then cut into a triangle.
To make the banner join the panels together in this order:
Yellow panel over red panel and pin On the other side of the yellow, pin it over the Green panel, making sure that your seam will be the same.
Sew the 3 pieces together at these two points, using a ½ seam for both lines. Zigzag ends together. Repeat for other panel.
5. Make the hem of the bottom panel using two 1/2" folds, press and sew in place.
6. Place newspaper over the two banners and cut out the triangles.you should definitely not cut it out at the exact size of the triangle, but put a 2"seam allowance all around first.
Also cut out the lining pieces too the same size as the panels. Join the lining and RGG panel by zigzagging the edges altogether.
7. Line up the ready panels inside of the skirt doing one side at a time.pin in place. Draw two lines on the front of the skirt where you will sew, if you want to.
Sew in the first panel. I usually pin up the bottom of the panel at the jeans so it wont stick out.
I wish to send a Sabbathical Blessing - Buruk Senbet Selam - to all RasTafari. I am inspired today to just give Ises to the King by calling remembrance to His Name and the Covenant of RasTafari in hopes of reinvigorating ones to never give up the trod of Black Righteousness for the salvation of Afrika's creators.
How often do you think about your revelations of the King? How often does your Irit carry the principles of JAH being Ivinely awakened and inspired by HIM in everyday Livity and Life?
The Truth is that the more RasTafari are entrenched in Babylon - or are bound by obligations to Babylon, the farther do they walk away from JAH and their true Ivine Covenant with HIM.

Calling oneself by the Mighty Name RasTafari ultimately means that one as an individual seeking salvation from hell on earth, has adopted a new sense of lifestyle and principle which changes one for the better. It means that through the personality, goals and works of the Man whose name is RasTafari or Ras Teferi Makonnen or Emperor Haile Sellassie; one sees, senses, knows and accepts JAH, or the Almighty God and Kristos. Through HIM, one has been enlightened and fiercely inspired to find a sense of self-worth, value for life, raspect and concern for others and ultimate fulfillment in all things and situations. This in itself is not an alien event. It is something that all people experience no matter what name they choose to hail when they wish to find God (be it Heru, Krishna, Buddha or Jesus) or what church or faith they adopt to attain a sense of belonging.
In order to call oneself RasTafari, or in order to be inspired by JAH, one has to know HIM and have a deep knowledge and overstanding of HIM. The first step that guides one to hailing JAH RasTafari is to know Who the King is and what the Emperor fought for and achieved in His lifetime. Those who truly live RasTafari all their lives know that the only way to see longevity in the Livity is to have a real Iritual Connection, Communication and Ivine Fellowship with HIM through this knowledge and overstanding of the King’s morality and faith. This knowledge is also paramount to sighting the fulfillment of Biblical and other Hebrew Scriptures, whereby RasTafari Identify HIM as the Kristos King Returned, Root of David.
This knowledge as code and key to the Ible and Sighting RasTafari, comes from reading books and watching films on His Majesty and RasTafari in general, in addition to researching Ethiopian and world history from the reign of Menelik II to Emperor Haile Sellassie I. Such helps to identify the players of prophecy, and to clarify the environment, atmosphere and background that led HIM to be Who He is, and act as He did as a Child of that prophecy. The Emperor’s own autobiography sheds more light on His personal feelings and experiences from childhood to old age giving one an overstanding of His Krist-like rearing, nature and attitude. There are also the many collections of His Majesty’s speeches which outline His opinions on state, welfare, equality and the goals of the Black Nation, giving I and I a moral compass to build New Jerusalem upon.
From such written works RasTafari make great summaries and opinions on the life and character of the King, and revere His righteousness and power. Through knowledge reasoning and faith, I and I RasTafari people find a sense of direction, capability, honour, power, wisemind and kinship that allows each and every one of I, as said, to have better lives and affect the lives of others positively. RasTafari take from HIM a sense of selfless motivation, following in His footsteps to see New Jerusalem blossom and flourish in every heart - hence the immortality of the King and His Kingdom. Therefore, sighting RasTafari truly comes about by love and trust in JAH’s ultimate righteous authority, self-education, self-Iditation and self-motivation to achieve and do better in life. I and I do not honour and praise the King and Queen blindly, but with the supreme intentions to adapt Their Righteousness in ourselves and families. JAH is there to learn from and to emulate, and JAH will shine through each individual talent that I and I have each been given.
Sighting and Sensing RasTafari can therefore only resonate by the individual “going within,” seeking what feels Right for one’s self, and working hard to Womb-Man-I-fest such through the Guiding Irit of JAH.
Now
I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him
was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes
war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many
crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was
clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of

You
saw the angry lion come roaring out of the forest, and you heard it
speak to the eagle and rebuke it for all the evil that it had done and
for all that it had said.
The lion represents the Messiah, whom God Most High has held back until the end.
He will be a descendant of David and will come and speak to the rulers.
He
will rebuke them for their wickedness, their sinfulness, and their
contempt for God’s ways. While they are still living, he will bring them
to judgment, condemn them for their sin, and destroy them. But he will
have mercy on the rest of my people, those who are left in my land: he
will set them free and make them happy until the end comes, the Judgment
Day…
Ive had a few readers come to the site looking for a tutorial on how to make the "Rasta Skirt" which is really just the pattern for making any layered or tiered skirt, but in our RGG colours. So basically any fabric that you choose you can make a very bohemian styled skirt which aside from the maxi, is my very favourite skirt to wear. Hope the instructions are okay. if you have problems let me know. just take some time to pause the video and write the formulas down.
